Summer 2019 Employment Opportunity with Institutional Advancement – Research and Data Entry/ Student Development Generalist
 
Research and Data Entry: Institutional Advancement is the campus department which manages the database for alumni, friends, and parents of the College. Students will have responsibilities such as maintaining records of College constituents, updating data, research, scanning and filing important donor documents, as well as assisting with special projects. 
Student Development Generalist: Students will support Institutional Advancement’s comprehensive fundraising and engagement efforts. As a Generalist, students may be involved with special projects including research, data entry, data analysis, proposal presentations as well as basic office support such as shredding, preparation of mailings, etc.
 
Qualifications
·        Exhibit enthusiasm in support of Albion College.
·        Significant computer operation experience including but not limited to word processing/spreadsheet, database entry, scanning.
·        Ability to work independently and self-directed.
·        Ability to interact well with staff and others outside of the college. 
·        Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
·        Possess organizational abilities and attentiveness to details.
·        Ability to work as a team member.
·        Computer literacy skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.


Working Hours
Up to 40 hours per week.
