General Maintenance Assistant-Student

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title: General Maintenance Assistant-Student and Office Assistant
Supervisor: Jeff Watson
Position Duration: Summer 2021 May 10th through August 20th
Date Created: April 6, 2021
Day and time: Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Facilities Operations is a service organization dedicated to the support of a community of learners through excellence in facilities construction and maintenance. We strive to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and functional atmosphere that is conducive to living and learning together while maintaining the highest possible standard of financial and environmental stewardship.

General Duties (all levels)

  • Inventory parts and supplies in the supplies crib
  • Input data into spreadsheets and databases in order to maintain organized tracking of parts and supplies
  • Deliver mail and packages when needed
  • Fulfill parts pickups and deliveries in certain situations
  • Other duties as assigned

Completed forms must be delivered in person (bringing the required documentation) to the Human Resources Office which is located in 225 Ferguson. All forms should be completed in ink, not pencil and students should use their permanent address on all forms unless the permanent address is an international address.
