Theatre Team Member - Bohm Theatre
WORK STUDY STUDENTS AT THE BOHM THEATRE
The Bohm Theatre's mission is to be a dynamic community center for performing arts,
film arts, and arts education for the greater Albion community.
SCOPE:
Work-study students have the opportunity to train
in a professional environment and apply the knowledge in real-time.
Students will work under the supervision of the Manager of
the Bohm Theatre to learn day-to-day operations of running a
nonprofit arts organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As
part of the Bohm team, work-study students will train and be assigned
independent responsibilities as directed. These include: Customer
Service, Concessions Management, Ushering, Ticket sales/Box Office,
Routine maintenance
RATE OF PAY/CONTACT HOURS AVAILABLE:
$8.90 per hour
Typical
number of hours worked weekly: 4-12 Hours available to work are
evenings and weekends (total hours worked subject to number of student
contact hours available) and includes: Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and
Sundays: 6pm – 11pm; also, Saturdays and Sundays 1pm to 6pm. (FOR EXAMPLE: a typical 10-hour week might be Friday and Saturday, 6pm to 11pm, or Saturday, 1pm to 11pm.)
